Work Experience

Since 2009, I have held temporary unskilled positions due to the current 'economic climate'.

I am currently working as a freelance artist on a start up company with three other members of staff on a single, professional IPhone game. I am covering all graphic/visual work needed for the projects, which involves all assets, including 3D environments, 3D models, user interfaces, etc.

July 2007 - Dec 2008 - Juice Games, Warrington
I held the position of Vehicle Modeller/Artist. I worked from July 2007 to December 2008 (before the second studio was closed by THQ), and was part of a two man team that created all the main player jets in the game. I also created assets in between and environment work around deadlines. I used 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Painter (Using an Wacom Intuos tablet), Illustrator (for technical art - decals, camouflage, etc) and SVN Tortoise and Perforce here.

Sep 2005 - July 2007 - Trading Standards, Cheshire County Council, Chester
I worked here as an Trading Standards Enforcement Technician. My duties involved mainataining a number of database systems which were used in the monitoring of farmer's activities, and also field work and investigation work as part of a team.

Apr 2004 - Sep 2005 - Merseyside Police, Birkenhead (temporary agency position)
I carried out typical Admin duties, which involved scanning in witness statements as my primary role and retrieving files as and when they were needed for court requests.

2002 - 2004 - Orchard Two, Bootle, Liverpool
I was positioned as a Graphic Designer, I created artwork for clients for packaging and web design. I used Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark XPress, including printing out negatives and positives in order to create printing plates for Litho and Flexo printing. For web design I used the same and Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash.

2000 - 2002 - Newhall Publications, Hoylake, Wirral
I worked in the mail dept of this large family run magazine producer. My position was supervisor, and my duties including usual office duties.
